A safer option than glass and some insurers insist on it for higher value works. We use three types of acrylic: regular acrylic, UV protective abrasion-resistant acrylic, and museum-grade acrylic with UV and low-reflective qualities.
This conservation-grade UV glass filters out 99.9% of UV rays, which can cause colours to fade and paper to age.
Low-reflect Glass (also known as
Our low-reflect glass reflects just 1% of light (regular glass reflects 8%) and filters out 70% of UV rays. Sometimes you can’t even tell the glass is there.
A premium product used to preserve artwork in the long term. This low-reflect glass provides the highest UV protection of 99.9%.
